Zhongyuan Hai Holding held its 2023 Annual General Meeting on 29 May 2024 and the First Class A and Class H Shareholders Meetings in Shanghai and Hong Kong respectively. The meeting passed a number of motions including the Annual Board Report, the Annual Financial Report and Audit Report, the year-end profit distribution plan, the external collateral level, the appointment of an annual domestic and foreign auditor. IN ADDITION, THE COMPANY'S EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR YANG ZHIJIAN RESIGNED DUE TO JOB CHANGES, AND TAO WEIDONG WAS APPOINTED AS THE NEW GENERAL MANAGER. The Company also announced a supplemental agreement with its subsidiary Awan Mercury with Yangzhou Heavy Industries to upgrade their engine power to methanol dual-fuel propulsion for four vessels under construction of container ships, as well as the launch of the “Proportional Weighting Return” action. The resolutions of the meeting were approved and certified as legally valid by the Beijing Tongcheng Law Firm.
