China Rare Earth Holdings Limited (“China Rare Earth”) announced on 17 May 2024 that Ms. Qian Yuan-ying has stepped down from her duties as Director and Chairman of the Board to focus on personal and other business activities. Ms. Qian confirms that there is no disagreement with the Board of Directors and that no special notice is required to be given to shareholders or the Exchange. The Board of Directors expressed its gratitude for Ms. Chan's contribution to her tenure. On the same day, the Board of Directors announced that Mr. Jiang Quanlong was appointed Acting Chairman. Mr. Jiang is the founder of the Group with extensive experience in the rare earth and refractory materials industry. He served as Honorary Chairman of the Board of the Jiangsu Provincial Rare Earth Industry Association and is the husband of Ms. Qian. The Board of Directors welcomes the new appointment of Mr. Jiang.
