On 16 May 2024, Gilli announced that it will declare a special dividend of approximately HK$75.21 million to shareholders. This distribution will be made in the form of cash or US Depositary Shares (ADS) based on the number of shares. Approximately HK$0.007474 per share will be distributed, or one ADS per 22,000 shares may be distributed at an offering price of US$21. Eligible shareholders have the option to receive ADS or the equivalent of HK$164.43 in cash. Ineligible shareholders will only be able to receive cash. All cash payments will go down to the nearest HK cent. The distribution is subject to shareholder approval and the relevant circular is expected to be sent on or before 30 May 2024. In addition, Geely Motor reminds shareholders that it is advantageous to choose to distribute cash in lieu of ADS is at the sole discretion of shareholders, subject to individual circumstances and choices.
