Chongqing Hongqiu Fruit Products Co., Ltd. (“Hongqiu Fruit Products”) announced on 16 April 2024 that, due to the failure to obtain the information and independent investigation results required for the audit of its consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023, that Pimawi Accounting Firm has requested the resignation of the Auditor of the Company from the Board of Directors. In his resignation letter, Mr Bimawy said that the audit found matters requiring further explanation and that, as of the date of his resignation, the management of the company had not provided the necessary information and that an independent investigation had not been initiated. HUNG KOU FRUIT SAID IT IS ACTIVELY ORGANIZING THE REQUIRED DATA AND LOOKING FOR A NEW AUDITOR. In addition, the company clarified the clerical error in the March 28 announcement and restated H shares and will continue to suspend trading until the annual results are announced.
