HUACHEN CHINA AUTOMOBILE HOLDINGS LIMITED (“HUACHEN CHINA”) ANNOUNCED AT ITS BOARD MEETING ON 15 APRIL 2024 THAT A SPECIAL DIVIDEND OF HK$1.5 PER SHARE WILL BE DISTRIBUTED. The special dividend is expected to be distributed on 17 May 2024 to the shareholders listed on the 3 May list. In order to determine the dividend rights of shareholders, the transfer registration of shares will be suspended from April 30 to May 3. In addition, after Huachen China sold its 25% stake in Huachen BMW Motor Co., Ltd., the majority of the proceeds were distributed to shareholders through a special dividend, the remainder of which will be used as Group working capital. The company said that possible future dividend distributions will be considered based on cash flow conditions, but past dividend records should not serve as a reference to future dividend levels.
