AIA Insurance Holdings Limited (“AIA Insurance”), which was adopted on 1 February 2021, aims to encourage the selection of agents and long-term holders of company shares by proxy holders within the Group. The program allows the company to grant participants a limited share subscription unit on a monthly basis, matching their purchased shares. On 25 March 2024, 5,356 participants registered to participate in the 2024 Programme. A total of 1,878,120 restricted share subscription units corresponding to the same number of bonus shares will be granted at a share price of HK$54.80. These bonus shares will belong to participants from May 27, 2024 to May 27, 2027. The Board considers this move to enhance the agency's sense of belonging and commitment, in line with the objectives of the Programme.
