In May, the output of Commodity coal was 28 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%, and coal sales volume was 32.5 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.7%; total power generation was 15.22 billion kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%, and total electricity sales volume was 14.29 billion kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 9.2%. The main reason for the year-on-year decline in the company's coal sales volume in May was weak downstream coal demand, affected by the progress of coal sales settlement.
