The Ministry of Natural Resources stated recently that since the implementation of the unified real estate registration system in 2015, a total of over 20 million houses with historical legacy issues have been resolved nationwide, and various prominent issues related to certificate issuance have been effectively addressed; especially since 2024, more than 3.4 million long-standing, cross-departmental "hard nut" housing issues have been resolved nationwide. In the past long period, some Residence projects failed to register and issue certificates due to improper connection at the front end and inadequate supervision, leading to the absence of registration requirements. This caused many homebuyers to hold keys but not obtain the "small red book," making the transfer of assets difficult and the school enrollment and household registration challenging, which has become a major burden on their minds.
