In response to this situation, the official Weibo of Wahaha Group announced and confirmed that the OEM relationship is true: "We do have a commissioned OEM relationship with Jinmailang, and during the OEM period, our self-check discovered that individual batches of pure water products did not pass the factory sampling inspection. Since April 2025, we have terminated cooperation with the relevant OEM partner." Wahaha also stated that the Wahaha pure water currently on the market complies with national quality standards and our product quality management standards, so consumers can purchase with confidence.
