In the early hours of April 27 local time, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement stating that its delegation left Egypt's capital Cairo after concluding talks with the Egyptian side. The statement mentioned that during its time in Egypt, the delegation held intensive meetings and consultations with the Egyptian side, focusing on discussions to promote a ceasefire in Gaza and to end Israel's war against Gaza, among other related issues. Hamas reiterated its position on achieving a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza, including realizing the ceasefire, exchanging personnel with Israel, allowing aid into Gaza, and restoring Gaza's reconstruction.
