The first megawatt-level super Charging Station "Transportation Power Nation Station No. 1" was put into operation on the 26th in the Lingang New Area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, allowing Commercial Vehicles to "charge for five minutes and drive one hundred kilometers." According to the Lingang Energy Service Center of the State Grid Shanghai Pudong Electric Power Company, a single super Charging Station has a maximum charging power of 1.5 megawatts, which is 5 to 6 times that of ordinary Commercial Vehicle Charging Stations. It can fully charge an electric heavy truck with 300 kilowatt-hours in 15 minutes, allowing a fully loaded electric heavy truck weighing 40 tons to travel over 200 kilometers, meeting the charging needs of super heavy trucks, ordinary heavy trucks, light trucks, and other types of vehicles.
