Contemporary Amperex Technology has released the second generation of the Shenxing super-fast charging Battery, featuring a range of 800 km and a peak charging rate of 12C.

At Tech Day, Contemporary Amperex Technology unveiled the second generation of the Shenxing super-fast charging Battery. This Battery is the world's first Lithium Battery to offer both an 800 km range and a peak of 12C, with a peak charging power of 1.3 megawatts. A 5-minute charge provides a range of 520 kilometers. Charging from 10% to 80% SOC at -10℃ only takes 15 minutes. In a low battery state, it can achieve a power of 830 kW. (Wall Street Journal)
