The world's first 700 megawatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed boiler has officially commenced running.

On April 17, the Yuneng Honghe Power Plant's 700 megawatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed generating unit successfully completed a 168-hour trial run, marking the official operation of the world's first 700 megawatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed boiler, independently developed by Dongfang Boiler under Dongfang Electric Corporation. This project utilizes the most advanced high-efficiency ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed power generation technology from Dongfang Boiler, overcoming challenges posed by high altitude, high moisture, and low heat value lignite, and features advantages such as strong fuel adaptability, high combustion efficiency, low pollutant emissions, and strong load adjustment capability.
