Prime Minister Modi of India will begin a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia next Tuesday, marking his first visit to Saudi Arabia in six years. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs stated in a statement on Saturday that Modi will meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to "further deepen and strengthen" the relationship between the two countries. This visit comes at a time when the USA is imposing comprehensive tariffs, forcing countries to strengthen trade relations with allies and neighboring countries in search of alternative markets. According to the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the trade volume between the two countries for 2023-24 is approximately 43 billion dollars, with India's exports to Saudi Arabia mainly consisting of petrochemical and petroleum products.
