Recently, NIO held a closed-door communication meeting, where NIO founder, Chairman, and CEO Li Bin, along with NIO co-founder and President Qin Lihong, accepted interviews from media including Sina Technology to discuss a series of transformative measures NIO is taking to achieve profitability in the fourth quarter of this year. Li Bin stated that NIO's investment in technology is very significant, but communication has not been adequate. Previously, people labeled NIO as providing good service but overlooked that technology has always been its foundation. In the early stages, NIO spent the most on technology, resolutely investing four to five hundred billion yuan around the underlying technology of the twelve full-stack. The same goes for intelligence; NIO's chips, operating system, and smart driving systems will soon have global models released, including intelligent safety and smart security. "Currently, NIO's battery swapping is so strong that it overshadows other areas, which is a problem we need to address. We hope everyone can see a more authentic NIO. Moreover, people forget quickly. Xiaomi's SU7 Ultra ran on the Nürburgring, but we did it back in 2016; yet everyone has forgotten. Therefore, we must keep repeating this. Don't think that once it's said, it's no longer necessary to mention it. We need to let everyone know the real NIO, and don’t think that what was said before doesn’t need to be repeated now."
