Musk congratulated the completion and production launch of the Tesla Shanghai Energy Superfactory, which is the first energy superfactory for Tesla outside the USA, set to produce Tesla's large commercial electrochemical energy storage system, the Megapack, and achieve production in China with Global delivery. After ten years of Tesla's entry into China, this is another large investment project following the Shanghai Gigafactory, completed in just seven months, a shorter construction timeline than the vehicle production factory. On March 21st, the first batch of Megapack energy storage systems officially exported from the Tesla Shanghai Energy Superfactory. It is reported that the first batch of Megapack energy storage systems will be shipped to Australia, and subsequent systems produced will supply the domestic and Asia-Pacific market.
