On the same day, the main tower on the north bank of the Yichang Bailizhou Yangtze River Bridge, constructed by Sichuan Road & Bridge Group under the investment of Hubei Jiaotou Group, was completed. The Yichang Bailizhou Yangtze River Bridge is a key control project of the Yizhang Expressway, with a main bridge length of 1,549 meters. Once open to traffic, it will connect three major transportation routes: Huhong, Huhyu, and Yueyi, helping to establish a one-hour economic circle between Yichang and Jingzhou, which is of great significance for promoting the rapid development of Hubei's Yangtze River Economic Belt and supporting the rise of the central region.
