The report shows that in 2024, over 90% of the core Indicators of key monitored digital industries achieved year-on-year improvement. Statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology indicate that in 2024, the main Indicators of the digital industry experienced steady growth, achieving business revenue of 35 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%. The total profit of the digital industry reached 2.7 trillion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 3.5%. Driven by emerging businesses such as AI and cloud platforms, the software industry achieved business revenue of 13.7 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 10%. Research shows that the clustering trend of China's digital industry is evident. In 2024, the revenue of the digital industry in the eastern region grew by 6.5% year-on-year, accounting for 73.6% of the national total. The top ten provinces in terms of digital industry revenue, including Guangdong, Jiangsu, Peking, Zhejiang, Shanghai, ShanDong, SiChuan, Fujian, Anhui, and Hubei, accounted for 81.5% of the national proportion, contributing 99.5% to the national growth of digital industry revenue.
