From January to February, the industrial added value of above-scale enterprises nationwide increased by 5.9% year-on-year, accelerating by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous year. In the three major categories, the added value of the mining industry increased by 4.3% year-on-year, manufacturing grew by 6.9%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas, and water increased by 1.1%. The added value of equipment manufacturing grew by 10.6%, accelerating by 2.9 percentage points compared to the previous year; high-tech manufacturing added value grew by 9.1%, accelerating by 0.2 percentage points. By economic type, the added value of state-controlled enterprises increased by 3.7%; joint-stock enterprises grew by 6.6%, foreign and Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan-funded enterprises grew by 3.2%; private enterprises increased by 6.7%. By product, the output of new energy vehicles, 3D Printing equipment, and Siasun Robot&Automation products increased year-on-year by 47.7%, 30.2%, and 27.0% respectively. Month-on-month, in February, the industrial added value of above-scale enterprises grew by 0.51% compared to the previous month. In February, the manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index was 50.2%, rising by 1.1 percentage points compared to the previous month; the enterprise production and operation activity expectations index was 54.5%.
