In the letter dated March 11, the company wrote, "For example, past U.S. trade actions have led target countries to respond immediately, including increasing tariffs on electric vehicles imported into those countries." The letter emphasizes that even Tesla, led by Trump's close ally Musk, is concerned about the potential impact of widespread tariffs.
