The USA Treasury Department issued a statement on the 13th saying that sanctions have been imposed on Karim Khan, the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. The statement said that the sanctions were implemented by the Treasury Department at the request of the Executive Order signed by President Trump on the 6th of this month. On the 6th, Trump signed the Executive Order, announcing that the USA would impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands, on the grounds that the court has taken 'illegal and baseless actions' against the USA and Israel. The Executive Order states that the USA will make those involved in the 'criminal acts' related to the International Criminal Court 'pay the price', including the confiscation of Property/A-REIT and assets, as well as prohibiting personnel, agents, and their immediate family members from entering the USA.
