香港金管局:财政部将在香港发行125亿人民币国债

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority: The Ministry of Finance will issue 12.5 billion yuan of government bonds in Hong Kong.

The Ministry of Finance announces that the central government will issue two-year, three-year, five-year, ten-year, and thirty-year yuan government bonds for bidding on February 19, 2025 (Wednesday), and they will be settled on February 21, 2025 (Friday). Two-year yuan government bonds totaling 3.5 billion yuan, three-year yuan government bonds totaling 3 billion yuan, five-year yuan government bonds totaling 3 billion yuan, ten-year yuan government bonds totaling 2 billion yuan, and thirty-year yuan government bonds totaling 1 billion yuan will be available for eligible members of the Central Money Market Unit ("CMU") as the interest rate symbol, through the CMU bond bidding platform for competitive bidding. Each series of government bonds will be issued at par value and will mature on the last interest payment date of the respective series in 2027, 2028, 2030, 2035, and 2055, with the interest rate being the single annual issuance rate determined by the bidding for that series of government bonds (i.e., the highest successful bidding rate accepted in the bidding for that series), with interest paid semi-annually.
