At the meeting, Huang Ge, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the People's Bank of China Hainan Branch, stated that in 2024, new breakthroughs in financial opening and innovation in the Free Trade Port have been achieved, the EF Account (multi-functional free trade account) has been successfully launched and running, the business volume of FT Accounts (free trade accounts) has significantly increased, and the scale of cross-border receipts and payments has steadily grown.
