Ales Michl, the Governor of the Czech Central Bank, stated that the country's monetary policy makers will evaluate whether to invest in Bitcoin. This move could make the country one of the first to use Cryptos as part of its Forex reserves. Michl took over the Czech Central Bank in 2022 with the goal of tackling the worst inflation crisis in thirty years and also made diversifying the Central Bank's investments one of his top priorities. The plan to make the bank profitable includes increasing Shareholding in Gold and Stocks, especially in the USA market. Michl pointed out that it is worth considering the possibility of including Bitcoin in reserves because it is not correlated with Bonds prices and is an "interesting asset for large portfolios." "Currently, it is still in the analysis and discussion phase," said the Governor. "The Board of Directors will make a decision, and no decision will be made in the short term. Thorough and careful analysis is needed."
