According to Reuters, US President Donald Trump vowed to impose tariffs on the EU and stated that his administration is discussing the imposition of a 10% tariff on commodities imported from China starting from February 1. Trump also mentioned that he would be open to Elon Musk acquiring TikTok. He stated that he has already imposed huge tariffs on China during his first term, and there are troubling trade imbalances between the EU, other countries, and the USA. "The EU is very, very unfair to us," he reiterated comments made on Monday, "so they need to impose tariffs, this is the only way to achieve fairness."
