Chris Murphy, co-head of derivatives strategy at Hanover International Group, stated that last Friday, investors heavily bought Call Options on the iShares Core MSCI China Index ETF (FXI). Other Call Options related to China assets also rose significantly, including the China Overseas Internet ETF (KWEB). ETFs related to China assets also strengthened. Several foreign institutions are optimistic about the future performance of the Chinese market. In a recent Research Report, Goldman Sachs predicted that the MSCI Chinese Index and CSI 300 Index would rise by about 20% by the end of 2025. Based on considerable risk-reward, the institution recommends continuing to overweight A-shares and offshore Chinese stocks. (Securities Times)
