NVIDIA criticized the new export restrictions on chips that the Biden administration is expected to announce soon, claiming that the White House is trying to undermine the incoming Trump administration by rolling out rules at the last minute. Insiders revealed that the U.S. government aims to restrict the sale of AI Chips used in Datacenters at both national and corporate levels, and the outcome of these restrictions will expand semiconductor controls to most of the Global. Ned Finkle, Vice President of Government Affairs at NVIDIA, stated in a release: "The extreme policy of implementing restrictions at the national level will affect mainstream computers around the world, which is meaningless for enhancing National Security; instead, it will prompt countries worldwide to adopt alternative technologies." Finkle said: "The Biden White House is trying to control the technology used in ubiquitous Datacenter computers and already in Global gaming computers, disguising it as an anti-China move, which is pointless." Finkle added, "This last-minute policy announcement by the Biden administration will become a legacy criticized by the American industrial sector and the international community." Finkle continued, "We encourage President Biden not to rush to implement a policy before the incoming Trump administration that will only harm the U.S. economy, regress the USA, and benefit U.S. adversaries."
