The Ministry of Finance and three other departments issued the "Notice on Further Expanding the Implementation Scope of Government Procurement Supporting Green Building Materials and Promoting Building Quality Improvement Policies." It mentioned that from January 1, 2025, the government procurement policies to support green building materials and promote building quality will be implemented in 101 cities (districts) including Chaoyang District in Peking. The projects included in the policy implementation scope are government procurement projects such as Hospitals, schools, office buildings, complexes, exhibition halls, convention centers, sports venues, affordable housing, and old city renovation projects, including government procurement projects applicable to the bidding law. Other government investment projects are encouraged to be included in the implementation scope in various policy implementation cities.
