Airbus is set to deliver a total of 766 aircraft in 2024, reaching the highest level in six years, just one step away from its established target, as customers continue to renew their fleets with more fuel-efficient aircraft like the A321neo. This figure is slightly below the target of 770 aircraft, which seemed out of reach last year due to difficulties the manufacturer faced in increasing production. The A321neo jet from Airbus accounts for 60% of its narrow-body aircraft deliveries, solidifying its leading position as the best-selling aircraft globally. Last year, Airbus also recorded 826 net orders, boosting the total backlog to 8,658 aircraft.
