On January 8, local time, BASF announced that it had signed an agreement with German EPS insulation material manufacturer BACHL to sell the Styrodur Business, including the Styrodur brand. About 50 BASF employees involved in production, marketing, and sales are part of this Business, and affected employees will remain with BASF. The sale is expected to be completed by mid-2025. Both parties have agreed to keep the financial details of the Trade confidential.
