In 2024, China's domestically produced aircraft will enter a new phase of large-scale development and multi-user operations. Civil aviation continues to strengthen airworthiness certification capabilities and the operational capacity of domestic civil aircraft, continuously optimizing the airworthiness certification after the certification of C919 and C909 aircraft to ensure the safe operation of domestic civil aircraft. The C909 has achieved a safe operation milestone of over 0.5 million hours, and the C919 has transported over 1 million passengers. The domestically developed advanced civil turbine engine AES100, which has complete independent intellectual property rights, was awarded a type certificate. Support for the overseas operations of domestic civil aircraft has been established, with the C909 obtaining type approval from the Mongolian Civil Aviation Administration and the Y12E receiving type approval from the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency.
