In 2024, civil aviation will implement 102 major Engineering & Construction projects and tasks set forth in the "14th Five-Year" plan, with an overall startup rate of 87% for 76 civil aviation projects. Throughout the year, 33.1 billion yuan will be allocated for subsidies and loan interest discounts for Infrastructure investment from the civil aviation development Fund, striving for 5.56 billion yuan in central budget investments and 17 billion yuan in ultra-long-term special bond support. By the end of the year, five new runways, 25 new parking spots, and an additional terminal area of 0.019 million square meters will be added, bringing the total number of Transportation airports to 263, with a total capacity of 1.5 billion passenger trips. The first batch of air traffic control capability enhancement projects will be fully launched, and the "14th Five-Year" air traffic control Radar, weather radar network project, and communication network expansion projects will steadily advance, resulting in a net increase of 12 sectors, 45 air routes, and a mileage of 8349 kilometers throughout the year.
