At a press conference in Las Vegas, SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won announced that the development speed of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) by SK Hynix, a subsidiary of the group, has exceeded the supply speed required by NVIDIA, suggesting an increase in negotiation leverage with NVIDIA. The South Korean chip giant had previously announced that the HBM planned for production in 2025 is already sold out, with NVIDIA being the largest customer.
