On the 7th, the United Nations called on the international community to provide over $0.37 billion in humanitarian assistance to those displaced in the Middle East due to the Lebanon-Israel conflict. Imran Riza, the UN humanitarian coordinator in Lebanon, stated that although the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel has brought hope, the situation remains severe. This aid plan will provide emergency relief for approximately one million Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian refugees for three months. According to UN data, since the ceasefire agreement was reached in November, over 0.8 million Lebanese have returned home, but more than 0.125 million remain displaced, with hundreds of thousands facing significant challenges in their lives.
