The new subsidies for purchasing new digital products like mobile phones are a new initiative for the 2025 consumer goods trade-in program. A relevant official stated at today's routine press conference held by the State Council Information Office that the subsidy process needs to be optimized to enhance the consumer experience. Li Gang, the director of the Department of Market Operation and Consumer Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce, mentioned that the aim is to make the process simple, user-friendly, and quick, while reasonably optimizing the subsidy application process. While ensuring the safety of funds, it is necessary to minimize the operational steps for consumers and enrich payment channels to better meet consumers' diverse and convenient payment needs, thereby enhancing the overall consumer experience.
