On January 8, ARTS OPTICAL announced on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong that the Board of Directors has noted unusual fluctuations in the market price and Volume of the company's shares traded today on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited. After making reasonable inquiries in this regard, the Board of Directors is not aware of any reasons for the unusual fluctuations in share price and Volume (other than those disclosed below), or any inside information that needs to be disclosed under Section XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571) of Hong Kong law. The group has signed a framework agreement with potential partners to collaboratively develop smart glasses and virtual reality related optical accessories. The discussions on the implementation of such framework agreements are currently at a preliminary stage and may not lead to a formal agreement. The Board of Directors will make further announcements in due course.
