The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance have issued a notice stating that additional support will be provided for the replacement of old household appliances. Support for the replacement of eight types of household appliances including Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Television, Air Conditioner, Computer, Water Heater, Household Stove, and Cooker Hood will continue, while Microwave, Water Purifier, Dishwasher, and Rice Cooker will be included in the subsidy scope. Personal Consumers who purchase products with Level 2 energy efficiency or water efficiency standards among the above 12 types of household appliances will receive a subsidy standard of 15% of the product sales price; products with Level 1 energy efficiency or water efficiency standards will receive a subsidy standard of 20% of the product sales price. Each Consumer can receive a subsidy for 1 item per product category (up to 3 items for Air Conditioner products), with the subsidy for each item not exceeding 2000 yuan. Personal Consumers who have already enjoyed the old-for-new subsidy for a certain type of household appliance in 2024 can continue to enjoy the subsidy when purchasing the same type of household appliance in 2025.
