On the 6th local time, the Lebanese Army issued a statement saying that the Lebanese forces have been stationed around the town of Nakoura in southern Lebanon and have begun coordinating deployment with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The statement mentioned that the five-member committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement (mechanism) held a meeting that day in Nakoura, which was attended by US presidential envoy Amos Hochstein. Meanwhile, Israel withdrew from the town. Hochstein stated that the Israeli army will completely withdraw from Lebanon in compliance with the Lebanon-Israel ceasefire agreement.
