The report stated that one of the drones that was hit exploded upon crashing, setting the roof of the training center at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant on fire. The attack did not cause any damage to the nuclear power plant or casualties. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated on the 6th on Social Media that the Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops, and artillery forces conducted 26 fire strikes against multiple military assembly points of Russian forces, 4 drone flight control points, 3 air defense systems, and 5 artillery systems on the 5th. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Ukrainian army continued to launch attacks in the Kursk region on the 5th. The Russian military continues to carry out full-line attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk region and Kharkiv Oblast, with the fighting mainly concentrated in Pokrovsk (known as Red Army Town by the Russian side), Toretsk, and Kurakhove.
