Michael Brown, a senior research strategist at Pepperstone, stated in a report that a large amount of economic data will be announced this week. In this context, the market will welcome a $58 billion auction of 3-year US Treasury bonds on Monday. He mentioned, however, that most market participants may have already placed 'half their attention' on the US employment market report scheduled for release on Friday. He noted that in the previous 3-year US Treasury bond auction, the winning yield was only 0.1 basis points higher than the expected yield, while the average of six auctions had a winning yield that was 0.2 basis points lower than the expected yield. According to Tradeweb data, the yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds rose by 2 basis points to 4.618%.
