According to the plan, by 2027, the Volkswagen Group and its brands plan to launch 40 new models in the Chinese market, of which 20 will be Electric Vehicles. By 2030, more than 30 Electric Vehicle models will be launched in China. The Volkswagen Group (China) stated that through cooperation with partners such as SAIC Motor and Xiaopeng Motors, it will supplement and strengthen the product lineup of its Audi and Volkswagen brands; expand the product portfolio by developing new models based on the CMP platform, offering compact models.
