According to Chengdu Release, on January 6, it was learned from Chengdu Customs that the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone has officially been approved for establishment by the State Council. This is the first airport-type comprehensive bonded zone in Sichuan Province and the sixth comprehensive bonded zone in Sichuan and the third in Chengdu. It is introduced that after the official running of the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, it will rely on the bonded port and the high-end resources of the Tianfu Airport aviation hub to focus on developing the three leading industries of Logistics and supply chain management, innovative services, and advanced manufacturing, aiming to create a new model of high-quality development for airport-type comprehensive bonded zones, a new platform for coordinated opening of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, and a new hub for international supply chain resource allocation in the west.
