Among the major ports along the 'Maritime Silk Road', 5 port freight rate indices increased, 9 decreased, and 2 remained basically unchanged. This week, the Thailand-Vietnam route market experienced significant fluctuations: the shipping capacity on the route is sufficient, resulting in a drop in freight rates due to supply exceeding demand. The freight rate index for the Thailand-Vietnam route is 1461.0 points, down 10.6% from last week.
