USA Spanx, LLC filed a petition with the U.S. International Trade Commission under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, claiming that specific shapewear and its components exported to, imported into, or sold in the USA infringe its patent rights, requesting the initiation of a 337 investigation and the issuance of a general exclusion order, a limited exclusion order, and a cease and desist order. A total of six companies from China and the USA are involved in the case.
