On the 3rd, Xiong'an held a news conference for the 2024 Xiong'an Free Trade Experimental Zone Open Innovation Work. As of now, the Xiong'an area of the China (Hebei) Free Trade Experimental Zone has registered over 1,500 enterprises with a registered capital exceeding 253 billion yuan. In 2025, the Xiong'an Free Trade Experimental Zone will focus on implementing 'two platforms, three formats, and four elements' enhancement actions, upgrading the developmental capabilities of the Free Trade Zone and Comprehensive Bonded Zone, exploring innovations in three formats: 'digital trade,' 'bonded+,' and barter trade, and promoting institutional openness in four elements: 'data, talent, capital, and environment,' striving to achieve an import and export volume of over 4 billion yuan for Xiong'an's foreign trade and over 0.2 billion US dollars for the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, as well as promoting more than five institutional innovation achievements to be replicated and adapted at the provincial or national level, using the Free Trade Zone to accelerate the enhancement of industrial capability in the new area.
