Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission announced the application direction and advancement institution list for the 2024 key products and processes "one-stop" application plan, led by Chongqing Boao Magnesium Aluminum Metal Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (referred to as: Boao Magnesium Aluminum), in collaboration with Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Stock and several other institutions including Chongqing University, Chongqing Meilixin Technology Co., Ltd., Chongqing New Energy Storage Materials and Equipment Research Institute, and Chongqing Advanced Lightweight Metal Research Institute, successfully submitting the project for the development and application of complex and large magnesium alloy castings for large complex thin-walled integrated die-casting magnesium alloy structural components in new energy vehicle bodies. This marks a new breakthrough in China's lightweight technology field in new energy vehicles.
