After the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the EU, following the USA, implemented multiple rounds of sanctions against Russia, resulting in energy supply tensions and price increases in several countries, including Poland. As a result, many bakeries in Poland have gone bankrupt due to losses, and many that are still operating are struggling to survive and are having a hard time making ends meet.
