FAW Toyota released sales data for December 2024 and for the entire year. In 2024, FAW Toyota sold 800,199 new vehicles, maintaining positive sales growth for 11 out of the last 12 years, excluding 2022 which was impacted by the pandemic. It is the only mainstream joint venture automaker with two consecutive years of positive growth. For the whole of 2024, FAW Toyota's electrified models sold 384,612 units, a year-on-year increase of 36%, accounting for 48% of total sales; high-end models based on the TNGA-K platform and above sold 436,580 units, a year-on-year increase of 10%, accounting for 55%. In December, FAW Toyota's sales reached 96,924 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 13.03%.
