The article points out the need to enhance the capability of supplying original technologies. Once breakthroughs occur in fundamental research and original innovations, they can significantly reshape industry and market competition patterns, fundamentally impacting productivity quality. As the backbone of building a strong technology nation, State-owned enterprises must emphasize enhancing original innovation capabilities to better grasp the initiative for future development. It is necessary to uphold and strengthen the primary role of enterprises in technological innovation, enhance the coordination of technological resources, actively participate in the construction of national-level R&D platforms, undertake major national technological tasks proactively, create an upgraded version of innovation consortia, and strive to produce a batch of original and disruptive results. Market-oriented applied basic research should be strengthened, technical foresight and multi-line layout should be reinforced, more 'core technologies' should be broken through and mastered, and the transformation of enterprise innovation from imitation to pioneering leadership should be promoted. A diversified funding input mechanism should be established, along with the creation of a corporate R&D reserve fund system, to ensure firm investment in areas urgently needed by the nation and industry but where other enterprises lack the willingness or capability to invest, and to enhance long-term stable support for fundamental research and original innovation, improving input-output efficiency.
