It is expected that the Pearl River system ports will complete a cargo throughput of 2.04 billion tons in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%. According to Statistics, it is expected that the Pearl River water transportation will complete a waterway cargo volume of 1.55 billion tons in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 2.5%; and complete a waterway passenger volume of 47.37 million people, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%.
